Septic Tank Installation

A septic system is a highly efficient, self-contained, underground wastewater treatment system. It is located underground in watertight container (mostly rectangular or round) made of fibre glass or plastic. Septic tanks are for homes that are not connected to the mains sewage network.

Types include: sewage treatment plant, conventional, pumped or gravity outlets. STP produced clean water that can be discharged into a water course, i.e, ditch or river or stream.

After the site has been inspected we will recommend installing a septic tank system suitable for you and your needs.

Soakaways

A soakaway is usually an excavated hole that is filled with gravel and perforated pipe to help with groundwater drainage

Taran matting is placed over gravel, filled in with soil and finished with a layer of turf.

Prior to installing a soakaway, a perculation test must be carried out to determine the size of soakaway required, and this is dependent on the drainage of the ground.

Concrete rings below the ground can be used as holding tanks for soakaways where space is limited. Sometimes an electric supply is required to pump the water to the soakaway.

We manage your soakaway project from beginning to end, and cater for a wide variety of sizes and situations.

CCTV Drainage And Drain Jetting

We use CCTV to to ascertain why a drain is not working well. This could be due to a number of factors including to a collapsed drain, roots affecting the flow, or household waste causing a blockage.

Sonds are used overground to identify where there is a blockage underground.

Drain jetting is a high pressure cleaning method for cleaning drains and sewer pipes and is one of the best methods used to clear blocked drains.

Using specialist cameras, we can identify the problem and provide a solution. Water is then pumped through the pipes with a high pressure hose fitted with a jetting nozzle which clears the blockage and prevents the blockage from happening again.

Drain jetting is the preferred method of choice when unblocking a drain as it’s efficient and there is no risk of damaging pipework. There is also no need to dig up the ground to reach the pipes. Drain jetting is also great to use for general maintenance and helps to prevent the future build-up of oil, grease and grime.
